No maintenance flexible coupling from Twin Spring Coupling

August 24, 2018 By Mike Santora Leave a Comment

Twin-Spring-Flexible-Coupling-TSC500+logoTwin Spring Coupling has announced the release of its new TSC500 (500-ft lbs) flexible coupling solution. Made from 2 counter wound torsion springs and no internal components means a maintenance free flexible coupling with the ability to work at larger angles than traditional universal, CV, Cardan, beam, bellows and other flexible coupling units, at both low and high speed.

“Our patented coupling has no internal components means minimal maintenance and can run in harsh environments like water, mud, dust. This saves on annual maintenance and constant replacement of existing coupling technology, add up to big savings for both the OEM and the customer” says Darren Finch CEO of Twin Spring Coupling.

The flexibility of the springs means it can operate over a wider range of angles, and can take punishment that would destroy other couplings. This means a stronger coupling that is more flexible than what the market offers today. The two spring’s means the unit is also multi directional offering the same amount of thrust in either direction. Minimal backlash and torsional stiff means the ability to swap out existing coupling technology makes the TSC300 or 500 a good choice for engineers looking for an improved customer experience.

“We are happy to release our latest product to the market, as the coupling is a new direction in drivetrain technology and allows designers and users more from their machinery” states Finch.
