HercuFlex consists of the FX, CX, FXL and RA/RAHS series of gear couplings. The FX series is a flange style gear coupling that features improved fastener corrosion resistance. The CX series is a continuous sleeve style gear coupling and features a seal design for improved contamination resistance. The FXL series is a labyrinth seal flanged gear coupling with an all-metal design suited for hot environments (like steel mills), where rubber gaskets would deteriorate. The RA and RAHS series of rigid, adjustable couplings are made of AISI 1045 steel and offered in two different styles. The type 2 coupling consists of two rigid hubs, adjusting nut and split ring and split ring for motor bub. The type 4 coupling consists of two rigid hubs, adjusting nut, split ring for motor hub and spacer.
