Torque wrenches from Ruland Manufacturing

Torque wrenches are used to precisely install hardware to a preset torque. They simplify installation, prevent over torquing, and maximize performance in installations where joint tension is critical to component performance, such as a shaft collar or coupling. Operators will either set the wrench to the desired torque or purchase them with a preset torque from Ruland. This ensures proper torque for the application is being applied during hardware installation.

Ruland supplies preset T- and L-style wrenches for torque values ranging from 2.3 in-lb (0.26 Nm) to 675 in-lbs (76.28 Nm). All Ruland torque wrenches are manufactured by Seekonk Precision Tools in Massachusetts with a proprietary internal mechanism that ensures hardware can not be torqued more than the factory preset. They come standard with NIST traceable certifications and are made in accordance with Federal Specification MIL-STD-45662A. Periodic calibration is required depending on frequency of use.
