PTDA welcomes five new members

PTDA-logoThe Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA), the leading association for the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel, recently welcomed five new member companies.

Distributor Members

ERIKS North America (Pittsburgh, Pa.) distributes bearings, belt & chain drives, motor/motion control, conveyors & material handling components and hydraulics & pneumatics. Vice president Bill Moore said, “We are looking forward to extending our relationship with EPTDA into North America with our PTDA membership. Networking and sharing ideas with partner members and manufacturers will add great value to our organization.

Transmission Equipment International Inc. (Wallingford, Conn.) is a distributor of adjustable/variable speed drives, bearings, belt & chain drives, clutches & brakes, conveyors & material handling components, shaft couplings & u-joints, gearing, motors, industrial specialty chemicals, linear motion components and accessories.

Manufacturer Members

Bega Special Tools (Vaassen, Netherlands) manufactures hydraulic components. “We are very excited for the opportunity to network within both PTDA and EPTDA. We look forward to meeting many new distributors and manufacturers as well as strengthening our existing relationships with the outstanding PTDA members,” said Richard Imbro, national sales manager.

Luff Industries Ltd. (Rocky View, Alberta, Canada) is a manufacturer of conveyor & material handling components.

Oil States Industries, Inc. (Arlington, Texas) manufactures clutches & brakes. Sales manager Richard McKelvey said, “We joined PTDA for the purpose of expanding business relationships and networking activities. PTDA is a vital component to enhancing brand awareness and for providing the networks and channels for sales advantages, delivery and efficiencies.”
