High torque flexible gear couplings

R+W expands on its product line by offering a new model of the BZ flexible Gear Couplings. These robust and maintenance-free couplings are now available in sizes that can transmit up to 2,080,000 Nm of torque and will include a keyway connection or a conical clamping system. The high-precision interlocking teeth in the coupling hubs are connected with flange faces and offer good misalignment compensation while transmitting torque with low backlash.

New in the portfolio is the model BZA. This gear coupling will feature a customizable intermediate spacer connected to the hub flanges in order to bridge larger distances. Additional coupling solutions such as the inclusion of disc brakes or longer coupling hubs are available upon request. With the addition of this new product line and expansion in available sizes, R+W has broadened its gear coupling portfolio and is able to offer a larger variety of solutions for high torque precision application.
